About the Artist

Hello shadowed souls and hearts drawn to nature's whispers 🖤

I'm Red – the artist behind The Bone Alchemist! If you're new here, welcome to my little corner where nature meets art.

Life First. Beauty Second. Always.

I've been fascinated with nature for as long as I can remember. Taxidermy became my way to honor nature's course and give animals a second life, as art. Every piece you see here comes from a place of deep respect. Taxidermy, to me, is more than preservation – it's a quiet conversation between life, death, and art. Sometimes my pieces are haunting, sometimes whimsical, but always made with care and intention.

Nature leaves nothing wasted – neither do I.

Each creature I work with has already left this world. No life is ever taken for my art. I gather what nature offers – road-found, naturally passed, gifted, donated, or bought through trusted sources – and give them form, reverence, and permanence. After taking what I can use in my work, I return the rest to the earth, burying it and honoring the life it once held.

Preserving life, even in death.

My goal is simple: to revere each life, capture its beauty, and invite you to see the wild world with new eyes. Through my pieces, I aim to honor the life of each creature and create something that lingers with each viewer.

Every feather, every bone, every story – remembered.

Whether you're here for the craftsmanship, the oddities, or simply the love of nature – welcome. I'm so glad you're here. I love hearing your thoughts and answering questions about my process, so feel free to say hi!
